Congrats, Big Sister!

I originally wanted to throw an actual party and invite family to celebrate my oldest daughter becoming a big sister. After baby Josie arrived, I quickly realized that was a lofty goal and decided just to have our little family and my mother there. I wanted it to feel special and different than a “normal” meal, so I picked up a few decorative items at target and pulled out my rainbow projector.

I had random decorative items and balloons left over from old parties and made a quick sign. I keep gifts on hand and pulled a few from the “gift basket” to make Aerin feel extra-special. This was so quick and easy to set up and was a nice way to let her know that even though the new (and very loud) baby was getting a lot of attention, she is still very loved!!
