Troop Beverly Hills…What a Thrill!

Troop Beverly Hills is one of my favorite movies of all time and I never expected my four-year-old to like it, but boy was I wrong! After watching it every day for months, I asked her if she wanted a Troop Beverly Hills party and she emphatically said yes.  I started buying things that screamed Beverly Hills Hotel, all things camping, and Girl Scouts and got to work planning a brunch fit for Phyllis Nephler herself.

I brought a cute campfire set that was in the girls playroom and set it up beside their tee pee. I custom ordered the flag design off of etsy and had it printed on a high quality material so that we could reuse it. The “grass” was a blanket I used as a comforter on my own bed years ago. Remember…when it comes to parties, you can never have too much! The hedge was available at the venue and worked perfectly a backdrop. Instead of a cake, I decided to do a smore’ station with rainbow marshmallows. I have seen color-changing ones that turn from pink to green, but they were sold out everywhere. I had cupcakes as another option and ordered these cupcake toppers and glued them to brown coffee stirs to look like wood. Most of them ended up being sent home.

For activities, I set up a “shopping” station where the kids could get a bag and fill it with whatever they wanted. I had scrunchies, TBH themed pencils, girl scout bandaids and stickers along with other things that were more gender neutral. We rented a bouncy house and set it up inside and my sister did face paint at the coloring station where I had custom coloring pages available.

I had the venue do a buffet breakfast and played 80’s music. The movie was also playing in the background, but no one noticed because they were having too much fun! I will list all of the links below to all of the décor items and the girl’s outfits!
